She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Studies along with a minor in Culture and Health from East Tennessee State University, before beginning here a Gatton College of Pharmacy. She has interests in Ambulatory Care and Psychiatric Pharmacy for her future career. Meet the Secretary of SSHP, Martha Martin. She is a 3rd year student from Smithville, TN. She is an avid lover of cats and makeup and enjoy spending time outdoors. She graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. As she has progressed through the pharmacy program, she has found a passion for patient-centered care. She plans to pursue a post-pharmacy residency or fellowship after graduation. Her career goal is to join a collaborative practice and be an integral part of an interprofessional healthcare team. Her advice to incoming P1s is to find someone that can lift you up, whether that be a mentor or a friend. To quote the wise words of Dr. Hurley, “Pep talks are always free.”
