We’re grateful to the Johnson City Press for highlighting our new group, Nurtured in the Garden, and our friends at Fauna Forest Farm (and The Earth School at Fauna Forest Farm)! We believe in the power of nature to connect us to each other and to our communities.

If you’re a parent of a child 5 or under and are interested in building connections, increasing social-emotional learning, and strengthening your parent-child bond, this is the group for you. Using the power of nature, storytelling, and the skilled guidance of an experienced counselor, this 1.5 hour group is sure to be a highlight in your week.

Our new group, facilitated by Shea Keane, LPC/MHSP/T, uses the power of nature and storytelling to build connection, increase social-emotional skills, and help add to your parenting toolkit so that you feel less isolated and more connected in your parenting journey.

Through guided discussion, reflection, and just the right amount of Swiftie spirit, we’ll explore themes of resilience, identity, relationships, and healing. Whether you’re navigating a cruel summer or stepping into a new era, this group is a safe space to grow, connect, and maybe even make a friendship bracelet (or two).⁣

This is a structured, therapeutic group led by Rebecca Lockridge, LPC/MHSP. She’ll use collaborative storytelling and role-play to build social skills, peer connections, and coping skills for anxiety. ⁣⁣
