Michael Schreiber, LMT and Professional Bowenwork Practioner welcomes you to the world of Bowenwork. Michael has been a Bowenwork practitioner for the last seven years and is committed to enhancing the health and well being of his clients. In his own words, "Life shouldn't have to hurt", and it is through Michael's devotion to Bowenwork that his clients find this healing modality to be remarkably beneficial. Bowenwork comes to us from Australia, where it originated in the 1950's by Tom Bowen, and has steadily spread throughout the world. Its' popularity and recognition has been growing throughout the United States over the last 20 years. Bowenwork is a hands on manipulation of the tendons, ligaments, muscle edges, joints, fascia and nerves. Different from massage, reflexology and other body manipulations, Bowenwork not only addresses the muscle and skeletal framework, but also the fascia, nerves and internal workings of the body. Bowenwork stimulates the body, to bring it back into balance and to heal itself. Addressing a wide variety of concerns, Bowenwork promotes healing, for all ages, on all levels, the physical, emotional, energetic and mental, with results can be very profound!
