🚨 Meet Dr. Brandon Morshedi – The Doctor Who Never Left the Ambulance! 🚑

From running 911 calls as a firefighter/paramedic to training with Dallas SWAT, teaching at the busiest ER in the country, and now shaping EMS from the ground up in Arkansas — Dr. Morshedi has truly done it all.

A paramedic-turned-physician, he’s dual board-certified in Emergency and EMS Medicine, has won multiple teaching awards, and served as Deputy Medical Director for the City of Dallas. He’s lectured across the country, published research, and helped lead the largest EM residency program in the U.S.

Now back home in Arkansas, he’s faculty at UAMS, Medical Director for Arkansas State Parks, Arkansas Task Force-1, and Air Evac statewide, and a driving force on state and national EMS councils.

ENA Foundation Emergency Relief Grants are now available to ENA members in Texas who have been impacted by this month's devastating flooding. These one-time individual grants in the amount of $599 are available to members who are unable to work; have experienced a loss of personal property or income; or who face a significant hardship due to the flooding and its aftermath.

This grant opportunity will be provided on a limited-time basis to qualified applicants while funds are available.

Police arrested a woman they say bit a hospital employee who was treating her in Paragould, Ark., according to a report from KAIT, the ABC affiliate covering the area.
