As many of us begin the New Year by cleaning, organizing, and making space after the holidays, we’re reaching out with an urgent request.
Right now, MAE Organization for the Homeless is in critical need of clothing, pantry food, and toiletries to support both our unhoused neighbors and families who are housed but experiencing food and housing insecurity.
These everyday items make an immediate and meaningful difference.
🥼Urgent Clothing Needs
We are especially in need of clean, gently used, or new items in the following sizes:
Adults
Hoodies, sweatshirts, fleece, and tops (men’s & women’s): Large, XL, XXL
Men’s tops (T-shirts, long & short sleeve): Large, XL, XXL
Men’s pants/jeans: 28, 30, 32, 34
Super-large men’s clothing 3XL & 4XL
Hats and gloves (men’s & women’s)
Children
Girls clothing: 4T
🛒Pantry Food Needs
Shelf-stable pantry items are always needed. Items similar to those from our past food drives are perfect, including:
Canned vegetables, soups, and beans
Pasta, rice, and boxed meals
Peanut butter and shelf-stable proteins
Cereal and breakfast items
Tuna or other meat protein
🧼Toiletries & Personal Care Items
These items are essential for dignity and daily living for both our pantry clients and unhoused community members (full size & travel size needed):
Shampoo & conditioner
Body wash & soap
Toothpaste & toothbrushes
Deodorant
Feminine hygiene products
Disposable razors
Baby wipes
