π¨Update on 100th street! Counting down the days until we are re-opened!π¨
We know you are all eager to find out the opening date of NW 100th Street, and we will be sharing that information soon. Unfortunately, the rain and cool conditions on Monday have set the contractor back. While we wish we could control Mother Nature, we recognize that we cannot, no matter how much we try.
The update as of November 18 is below.
πππππ π & ππ
- All work for Phases 1 and 2A has been completed.
πππππ ππ
- All work for Phase 2B has been completed. The pavement markings on White Oak Lane were finished, but the groove cuts were not included. The contractor will redo this as part of the remaining pavement marking work.
πππππ π
- All storm sewer pipework and structures have been completed.
- The roadway pavement is also complete, with the exception of the intake boxouts and median pavement.
- All 7β driveway work has been finished. However, the Graybar driveway (the trail section) and the south MidAm driveway are still incomplete.
- The trail has been completed and connects at the south end of the MidAm property. The remaining work includes connecting points at West Parkway, the Graybar driveway, and both MidAm driveways.
- The sidewalk and ADA ramps at West Parkway have not yet been finished. Additionally, the sidewalk connection at NW 54th and NW 100th is still incomplete, as MidAm is currently working in that area.
- McAninch will be on-site this week to remove the south MidAm driveway, establish the sub-base for the median pavement areas, and begin grading the sidewalk and trail connection areas.
- Backfilling of finished areas will resume as soon as the site is suitable for the delivery and placement of materials.
- The subdrain in the southeast corner of West Parkway will be completed this week.
- The completion of seed preparation and seeding is weather dependent. The goal is to finish the prep work as soon as possible.
