In recognition of National Gingerbread House Day on Friday, Dec 12th, our Residents and Associates gathered in the Bistro to decorate their very own gingerbread houses! Each participant received a house, extra candy, and pretzel décor, icing, and a holiday bow. For many, this was their first time—and everyone agreed it was a fun, relaxing way to celebrate the season.

Our 12 Days of Christmas Spirit at The Bridge at Cherry Hill on a chilly Monday!
Associates and residents dressed in their favorite holiday colors and festive shirts. Residents spent the day playing indoor Bocce, decorating holiday sugar cookies, and enjoying those cookies with hot cocoa during our social hour.

Holiday Preparations Are Underway!

On Wednesday, we kicked off the season with a festive social gathering where residents and associates shared cherished family traditions and stories. Together, we decorated ornaments, sang along to classic holiday tunes, and enjoyed a glass of creamy eggnog. Our Veterans at The Bridge at Cherry Hill began their celebration with a special lunch in our private dining room.

We came together as a community for a Lifestyles program to honor and pay tribute to our Veterans—and all who have served or are still serving.

Our honored guests and presenters included Senator Andrew Dimitri, Senator Deborah Fellela, and Major Joseph Polisena, Jr. Each Veteran received an Appreciation Certificate, an American Flag, and a patriotic pin.

A surprise Special Rifle Award and official citations were presented to Joe Callei, Army Veteran, by our distinguished guests.

The celebration continued with a patriotic musical tribute by Ken Camara, followed by a festive party featuring cake and ice cream.

At Century Park, we believe the most meaningful way to show our appreciation for our teams is by standing beside them—working hand in hand to support the incredible service they provide every day.

Service Day is a time when Century Park leadership partners with associates in a selected department at our communities around the country in caring for the residents they serve. Through this act of service, we strengthen our teams and build even stronger relationships with our team members.

Today, our leadership team and sales teams are joining forces with our community partners for a special Sales Service Day dedicated to honoring and supporting local veterans. Together, we’ll be reaching out to veteran groups, attending local events, and inviting veterans to learn more about the supportive environments our communities offer. Whether it's through hosting informational sessions, delivering care packages, or simply saying thank you, we’re proud to stand alongside those who have served.

Please drop off nonperishable food items at your local food bank, or make a monetary donation via their website. Anything you give will help keep pantries and bellies full!

Recommended food items:

• Canned meats (tuna, chicken, etc.)
• Low-sodium canned vegetables
• Low-sodium soups & stews
• Low-sugar breakfast cereal
• Canned fruit
• Peanut butter
• Whole-grain rice, pasta, & oats
• Vegetable oils
• 100% fruit juice
• Bottled water
