🥳 On Friday, residents, staff and family gathered to celebrate Antonetta "Etta" Ricciuti's 100th birthday on Sunday, April 26th. ✨

🎂 Everyone enjoyed a beautifully decorated delicious cake was created by our Pastry Chef Samantha. Maryann Grace, our Executive Director, presented Etta with a citation from Mayor Joseph Polisena Jr from the Town of Johnston. Dennis Poore played the piano 🎹 as we all sang "Happy Birthday." Then he continued to entertain us with songs from 1926 -1946.

Shout out on our local TV News Network NBC 10 WJAR to Antonetta Ricciuti from all of us at the Bridge at Cherry Hill.

Happy 100 years young, Etta. We love you! 🥰

🚌 On Wednesday, The Bridge at Cherry Hill residents boarded our bus and embarked on a scenic ride to Narragansett. 🌊⛵We enjoyed the sights and sounds of the ocean. We stopped at the Coast Guard House restaurant for lunch and then enjoyed the ride back home. ☀️

On Friday, residents, families, associates and friends attended our Annual Easter Fun Day at the Bridge at Cherry Hill. 🐰🌷 Children of all ages participated in an egg hunt with the Easter Bunny, complete with family photos and decorated eggs. 🐣 This community event also hosted a Fundraiser Bake Sale to support Autism Awareness, and the proceeds will be donated to Team Alex for the upcoming Imagine Walk on April 26. The highlight of our day was our live Hug-a-Bunny visit, which brought joy and peace to all who attended. 🐇 Happy Easter from all of us at The Bridge at Cherry Hill! 💛

April is Volunteer Month, and we are celebrating the amazing people of all ages who share their time with our residents. From calling bingo to painting nails 💅, performing music 🎵 to simply sitting and chatting, our volunteers bring an essential joy and connection to our community.

🌷 Spring has arrived at The Bridge at Cherry Hill! Our residents have been busy planting African violets and making bunny floral centerpieces. 🐇

Our Easter spring decor is up, and we are getting reading for our upcoming Community Annual Easter Egg Hunt. 🐣 Exciting times coming this week at The Bridge at Cherry Hill! 😁

Thursday night at The Bridge at Cherry Hill was an after-dinner celebration on Saint Joseph's Day. 🪚🪵

Residents, families, friends and associates gathered in our dining room to enjoy an evening of socializing, music and traditional pastries, which included zeppollis, cannolis, Bailey's chocolate cake, and coffee with Irish cream. Our pastry trays were made by our new dietary Pastry Chef, Samantha. 😋

The room was filled with lots of laughter, singing and dancing. Our residents also decided that it would be the perfect night to surprise and recognize Joan Stanzione, Lifestyles Director, as their "Amazing Woman of the Year" to say thank you for her dedication to all. 🩷

We are all thankful to be a part of this wonderful community. We are truly a family here at the Bridge at Cherry Hill!

😁 Variety is the spice of life, and surprises are fun and uplifting! This month at the Bridge at Cherry Hill, our Lifestyles and Dietary departments have teamed up to create a new social experience for our residents. We call it our Pop-up Social! 🎉

🎹 On Friday, residents gathered in our sitting room just before dinner to enjoy listening to the very talented Dennis Poore on piano as well as being offered a few appetizers created by Chef Marvin. 👨‍🍳 The atmosphere in the room was both relaxing and enjoyable.

🎵 Dennis Poore is an accomplished composer and songwriter. He has written music for a variety of productions, including the comedy "Earth Girls are Easy" and Disney's series "Suite Life of Zach and Cody" and more. Dennis has worked with numerous musicians, and his credits span the globe. 🌎

We are looking forward to creating different pop-up events and socials each month as we create more experiences for our seniors to enjoy! 👍

🌟 Last week, The Bridge at Cherry Hill associates participated in The Lifestyles Associate Spirit Week.

Associates dressed up for each theme day, and on Thursday took part in our scavenger duck hunt. 🦆 On Friday, National Employee Appreciation Day, associates wore their Century Park T-shirts , Chef Marvin prepared a Mexican-themed lunch 🌮, and we played Minute-to-Win-It games.
