“After being continually frustrated with a lack of progress, I decided to go to Jess and Expedition Wellness. At 45, I had changed my approach to fitness from CrossFit to Sisu, I was moving consistently, thinking I was eating “good” and still wasn’t able to achieve the results I desired. Finally, I decided I needed the help of a professional.
In the past 12 weeks, I have completely re-learned how to fuel my body. Starting with tracking, & then layering meeting macros and eating on a schedule, Jess has coached me through how, what & when to eat to meet my goals. Weekly meetings and Inbody scans have given me the accountability and data I needed to make the changes that I couldn’t achieve on my own.
I have lost 19lbs which includes 16bs of fat. I’m down 11% body fat and my visceral fat level which was once at a 6 is finally at a 2. I’m seeing numbers that I honestly thought were unattainable. And while maintaining a calorie deficit, I am still maintaining energy and performance. I improved on all the major lifts this cycle as well as my pull-up and pushup tests.
My results have far exceeded my expectations. I believe the new knowledge and skills that I’ve learned from Jess and Expedition Wellness will allow me to stay on this track and continue to improve the composition of my body. This is exactly what I needed at this point in my life.” ~Jen
