What a wonderful Veterans Day we had! Thank you to Conemaugh Regional Hospice and their Chaplain for honoring our Veterans with a special service! Our Veterans had yummy treats from Dunkin Donuts and a delicious burger meal from Chilis!! A big thank you to eveyone for making this a wonderful day for our Veterans! 🇺🇸

We ended the month with a week worth of Halloween goodies and creepy treats! Had a Halloween Mystery lunch and a spooky popcorn bar! Thanks Jamie(Penn) for all the good stuff to make our spooky trail mix! We had a blast!

We celebrated our October birthdays with some yummy cupcakes and a wonderful musical performance by Denise Kristal-Baldwin all thanks to Heidi(1laurel)! All the kiddos dropped by in their best Halloween costumes for trick-or-treat! We had so much fun! A big thank you to all of our wonderful company’s that were able to help with all the goodies and candy! Thanks to much!

Here’s all the fun crafts we did in October!! Halloween wreaths, painted pumpkins with BobbieUPMC), made Halloween snow globes with Melissa(Hilltop), and made potions with Candie(Interim)!! We also watched a festive move and had some goodies! It was all just a bunch of HOCUS POCUS! 🎃 🧙‍♀️

Some things we did this September!! We played games of tick-tac-toe & tea with Erica and Sara (Conemaugh). Had some goodies and watched Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballl! It’s alwasy a good morning when Pastor Cory(Pinnacle) comes and performs for us and finished the afternoon relaxing at the nails spa with Karen(advanced)! We had a great time having an auction with Lisa(Asera)! To celebrate all of our September birthdays we had ice cream cookie sundaes and went shopping in the Activity Store! We ended the month making pumpkins to start us off for Halloween fun! We can’t forgot Jamie( Penn) for the bingo games, Bobbi(UPMC) for the fun game of balloon volleyball and Candie(Interim) for making us milkshakes of National chocolate milkshake day! A big thank you to everyone that helped make our days great!❤️

Thank you Candie(Interm) for making us orange creamsicles on National Creamsicle day! We watched the brand new Snow White and had yummy cinnamon rolls and coffee then in the afternoon we had a fan favorite of popcorn and a delicious watermelon spritz! I didn’t get any photos but on the 21 it was National senior citizen day so we had a special treat of a fresh tomato sandwiches which we all love on a summer day! Then we made a craft where we took a coated golf ball with paint then rolled it all over a paper to make our abstract art! Also a thank you to Lisa(Asera care) and Jamie(Penn) for coming and hosting BINGO with us, we can’t forget about that! We had a cool watermelon treat with bingo too!

We’ve been having so much fun we haven’t had time to post photos! Here’s what we did in August while we had wonderful weather! We had apples with Carmel dip and peanut butter and played of game of I spy rummage detective. National root beer float was August 6th so of course we had to have one! Who doesn’t love a good pasta salad during summer, we made a vegetable, bacon, ranch pasta salad for cooking club and it was an absolute hit! We got to see a wonderful performance by one of our favorites Michael Faccian. Bobbi with UPMC came with crafts, we made cute little watermelon cup coaster! They turned out so cute!

This past Wednesday we had a blast at our Carnival! We had a great petting zoo come to hang out with us with so many different animals! We took fun pictures at Photo Booth and at the “kissing booth” where you can guess the amount of Hershey kisses! We ate all of the carnival themed foods and goodies and played some games! Thank you to everyone that was part in making our carnival a success! Thanks to everyone for helping in any way or who donated baskets!

The end of July we made apple cinnamon monkey bread in cooking club, we went shopping in our activity store and had a wonderful time listening to Pastor Cory with Pinnacle Hospice sing some Hymns with us! He’s so great!
