The School of Nursing, Interim Director James Ahacic, and Johnstown Police Officer Chas proudly recognized senior nursing student Lindsay Weaver as our latest Shining Star.

While walking to school near Bishop McCort High School, Lindsay demonstrated quick thinking and compassion by pulling a 7th-grade student out of harm’s way after the student dropped an item near a moving vehicle. Her swift action potentially prevented a serious accident and exemplifies the professionalism and care we strive to instill in all our students.
