Some of our senior nursing students stopped by the Pawsitive for Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Month kickoff event to spend time with the therapy dogs! A little puppy love goes a long way — great therapy for our staff, students, and visitors throughout the hospital.

The Conemaugh School of Nursing proudly contributed baskets to the Torrance State Hospital Indigent Patient Fund Basket Raffle on October 9. Proceeds will provide monthly stipends to patients with no income. We continue to truly make a difference and help make everyday life a little brighter.

Did you know that as of January 2025, nearly 20% of blood centers across the US had only 1-2 days' supply remaining? ❤

With the growing shortage of blood across the country, the Conemaugh School of Nursing is hosting a Blood Drive! Mark your calendars for Wednesday, October 15 and register for an appointment to give blood! The drive will be held from 10:30 am - 4 pm in the Education Building across from the main entrance of Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.
