Hiring!! We are looking for an additional RT/Scrub Tech to add to our team Part-Time. This position is in our vascular lab where we perform Diagnostic Angiograms and Peripheral Interventions. Ideal candidates should have experience in special procedures, ideally, cardiac Cath lab setting. This position includes working directly with the Doctor and RN. X-ray certification preferred. FYI!!!! Some of you may have already heard or received a letter in regards to UPMC dropping some of their Medicare plans in certain counties. For Cambria, Somerset, Bedford and Blair County (only to name a few) they are eliminating the UPMC Medicare PPO/Rx Choice plan. If you have this plan, you need to enroll into another UPMC plan or enroll in an entire different plan. They extended the enrollment period to December 31st. If you have any questions call the number on the back of your card. Also, BCBS is dropping their Distinct/Direct Blue PPO along with some of their network Doctors. Again, call the number on the back of your card to make sure your care team remains in network next year. Insurance can get confusing so just make sure you know what your deductible will be and if the doctors you see are eligible under your plan. **UPMC Partner Network Plan is not an insurance we can accept** This plan is offered thru the Market Place as one of their most affordable plans, however, your specialists have to be a UPMC provider-part of the UPMC system if you live within a certain mile radius of a UPMC Hospital/Center.
