We are "officially" no longer offering psychological testing...

Insurance companies have made it increasingly more and more difficult to cover this service. In 2019, we have gotten more denied claims than approved ones for comprehensive or even briefer assessments, making it impossible to continue offering it as part of our business.

This makes me very sad since I absolutely love doing assessments to help people, especially kids. My focus will be geared more and more toward our animal-assisted therapy interventions, which is exciting!

The past couple of years, I have been slowly incorporating emotional support animals into my practice. I opened our very own emotional support animal farm this past fall, The Healing Hird. As I have moved my sights more and more toward the farm and away from the traditional office, I am both pleased and sad to officially announce that I am now moving forward as the only human therapist in my office.

I wish Dr. Naumann, Dr. Kimble, Dr. Snow, Mr. DiBiasio, Ms. Fifer, and Mr. Salas the absolute best of luck in all your future endeavors! It was wonderful working with all of you over the past several years and I know you all have and are moving on toward greater things! Thank you for your dedication toward our practice! ☺️

We want to thank M & M Acres Equine and Farm Animal Rescue and Sanctuary for allowing us to do our work on their farm this past year! We learned so much from them and look forward to utilizing that knowledge with our own farm....

Today was an extremely emotional day for sexual assault survivors. We got many messages from our clients about how they struggled today. Regardless of political affiliations or who may or may not be telling the truth, please remember that there are over 300,000 sexual assaults in America each year. Every one of us is likely to have at least one victim in our lives (whether we know it or not), so please be kind with your words -- in your homes, your offices, and on social media. The thoughts and opinions we share may be negatively impacting someone we care about more than we know.
