Holiday wreath reminder!
All wreath orders are due by September 22. Contact us to place your order today!

All orders will need to be received in the office 𝐍𝐎 𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍 𝐒𝐄𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑 𝟐𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓. By getting our order submitted this early, we estimate having the wreaths delivered at the end of November.

We truly appreciate your efforts in getting these orders back to us as fast as you do, it makes getting everything delivered and set so much easier.

One other important piece of information: 𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐘 𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐍-𝐔𝐏 𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐁𝐄 𝐎𝐂𝐓𝐎𝐁𝐄𝐑 𝟏𝟓𝐭𝐡-𝟑𝟏𝐬𝐭 , please make sure anything you wish to keep you remove by October 14th, 2025.

I have also added a small survey on the order form in regard to grave blankets, I have found a company who claims to be able to make a full blanket complete with decorations. The cost of those would be in the $100 range, please let me know if you would have interest in a blanket. Blanket orders, if we have enough interested wouldn't be available until the 2026 season.

Elmhurst Cemetery will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2025 for Memorial Day.

While the cemetery is currently absorbing the tariff increase on granite across the board, with the continuing threat of increased tariffs, we're not sure how much longer we can continue to do so. We strongly encourage anyone who is looking to purchase a memorial, either for themselves or for a loved one to do so at your earliest convenience. The purchase of a memorial will never be as affordable as it is today.

SPRING CLEAN UP APPROACHING
• The spring clean-up will occur March 15-31. During this time ALL decorations will be removed from the grave sites. Any personal items you wish to keep should be removed prior to March 15.
• Signage regarding the clean-up has been posted throughout the cemetery in both English and Spanish.
• For decorations that remain, only those in good condition (not broken, cracked, inoperable, etc.) and that meet cemetery guidelines will be retained. These items will be collected by our grounds crew and laid out on tables by our maintenance shed. They will be available for 10 days. After 10 days, items will be boxed up and stored in our maintenance building. Items not claimed by the fall clean-up (Oct. 15) will be disposed of.
The clean-up periods are an important part of our cemetery maintenance procedures. We are committed to keeping the cemetery safe, beautiful and peaceful for all who visit. Should you have any questions regarding the upcoming clean-up or need assistance retrieving an item, please call or stop by the cemetery office.
