What a day we had! Thank you to all who baked, shopped, donated, volunteered and worked so hard to make this day one of our favorites! The Sunshine Holiday Gift Bazaar, complete with our famous BBQ (sloppy Joe) and Bake Sale was another smashing success! We are so blessed to have so many FRIENDS of Sunny Hill! A special thank you to the Board of Directors of Friends of Sunny Hill, our Residents and their family members and friends and the staff and volunteers of Sunny Hill - and our supportive community (including our Sister department and agencies of Will County Government!)

Two of our Board Members, Laurie Farkas and Marcia Stilwell also are members of the talented quilting group at their church - Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Joliet. Thank you for honoring our residents this way!

Thank you, Laurie Farkas and Marcia Stillwell, for the presentation of this beautiful quilt to Maggie and Jackie at the Friends of Sunny Hill Board Meeting. This quilt is meaningful and symbolic and will be used for draping prior to the final procession by the Sunny Hill Bereavement Team.

Sunny Hill Nursing Home Back-to-School Drive dropped off donated supplies to kids still in need.
