HB1150 is Now Law!
A Huge Win for Independent Pharmacies & Rural Healthcare

We’re excited to announce that Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has officially signed HB1150 into law—a major victory that protects your access to trusted, local pharmacies across Arkansas.

This new law prohibits Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) from owning or operating retail pharmacies in our state. It addresses long-standing concerns about unfair, anti-competitive practices that have put local pharmacies—especially in rural areas—at risk.

What HB1150 Means for You:

✅ Fair Competition: Creates a level playing field for independent pharmacies

🙏 Grateful Hearts in the Midst of the Storm 🙏

Our hearts are heavy as we look at the damage left behind by last night’s tornado in Monette and Lake City. Homes and farms have suffered, but today, we are thankful—thankful to God for His protection and thankful that no lives were lost.

In times like these, we are reminded of the strength and resilience of our communities. Neighbors helping neighbors, hands reaching out in kindness, and a spirit of unity that shines even in the darkest storms.

Southern Pharmacy stands with all those affected. We are here for you, ready to support in any way we can. If you need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out. If you have lost your medication, we can get replacements.
