⏳ The countdown to Game Day starts NOW!

With 29 days to go, we’re kicking off our Lady Wildcats countdown by recognizing the people who make our program special — starting with someone who takes care of us on and off the field every single day.

🎤 Get to know our Athletic Trainer, Miss Carolyn

🍿 Favorite dugout snack: Dill Pickle Sunflower Seeds

🍀 Pre-game ritual or superstition: Splints or an AED don’t touch the field pregame

💭 Favorite memory as a Wildcat: How easily I was welcomed and accepted to the Wildcat family and community!

🖤 One word to describe this team: Animated

🎯 Goal for this season: To see them make a regional tournament!

💬 From our players:
“She’s the one who mends what’s broken, calms what’s anxious, and ensures we always step onto the dirt stronger than we left it. We don't just play better because of her; we play safer and with more heart. We love you!” - Junior, Shayla Fleming

“Ms. Carolyn has been a backbone for our team since day 1. Without her we would not have good rehab systems, and we would not take care of our bodies like we should. She is a positive light that I look forward to seeing everyday. Everyone needs a Ms. Carolyn in their program!” - Senior, Dalaney Osment

Chris Coats, PTA, has recently completed the American Physical Therapy Association’s Advanced Proficiency Pathway in Orthopedics—an achievement held by only two PTAs in the state. With nearly 20 years at St. Bernards, Chris is a highly sought-after therapist and an invaluable member of our clinic. We are incredibly proud of his accomplishment!

We’re proud to be the first hospital in the state to integrate physical therapy directly into our Emergency Department. With PT expertise on the front lines, patients with mobility issues or neuro-musculoskeletal concerns can get assessed and treated right in the ED, often avoiding unnecessary imaging, extra medications, or a hospital admission.

Meet David Flores, PT, DPT, the first physical therapist serving inside our ED. He’s helping patients move safely and heal faster. His specialized training and bilingual care let us support even more of our community when they need it most.

This program is just the beginning, and we’re excited to lead the way in innovative emergency care for our community.

We held our annual Coach’s Clinic this month and it was another successful event. These area coaches left with all of their required AAA courses, CPR certified, and will be better equipped with taping their athletes if their ATC is unavailable. Special thanks to Jonesboro Schools for hosting us this year, and speakers Dr Morgan Benefield, Cory Weir ATC, Brian Griffith ATC, and Leah Hill ATC. We can’t wait to see everyone again next year!
