Congratulations to Student Doctor Harley Duncan (center), recipient of the 2025 Chloe Vaught Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship was created in 2020 and is annually awarded to a third-year medical student for their commitment to leadership, servanthood, and the compassion they show to all around them, all traits that made Chloe so beloved by everyone in the NYITCOM community. 

SD Duncan was recognized last weekend at the annual CV3 co****le tournament and fundraiser. Pictured with SD Duncan are Chloe’s parents Chris and Tonya Vaught and Janel and Myron Tilley, as well as Chloe’s sister Sophie. 

We love you forever Chloe, and we are grateful for all who contributed to this scholarship that honors the tremendous legacy you created by touching so many lives!🌻💛

Last week, our EMS students came to teach our our first year DO students important medical skills! Our students practiced inserting IVs, using surgical drills, & administering shots together! We love seeing all of our programs engage, learn, & work together like they will in the future!👏🩺💉

Shoutout to Dr. Richard Nelson and the nursing staff at Saline Memorial Emergency Department for giving SD June Dunwald an incredible rotation experience!

A huge congrats to Dr. Leith Hobbs, a member of our inaugural class, who recently began his pain medicine practice at Unity Health in Searcy.

Dr. Hobbs performed his third-year clinical rotations at Unity, and his outstanding experience there led him to return to Unity to practice. He's one of over 60 (and counting) NYITCOM at A-State alumni now practicing in Arkansas. Living the mission!

Congrats to Dr. Evan Delancey, Class of ‘21, for being named chief resident of the OBGYN program at Corewell Health East in Dearborn, Michigan! Dr. Delancey has signed to practice at NEA Baptist when he completes his training next summer, and we can’t wait to have him and his family back in Jonesboro!👏
