Medical Solutions of Arkansas has an immediate opening for Maintenance personnel. We will be conducting working interviews. Each candidate will work an estimated 3-4 hours 1 day to allow us to access your ability to complete the daily job duties.
Candidate will troubleshoot equipment issues and make deliveries to patient homes in a prompt urgent manner. Respectful to customers and referral sources is a must. Examples of equipment being delivered will range from cane, walkers, manual wheelchairs to power chairs and hospital beds.
Maintenance to the above equipment is a large part of our business. In house training will be provided and examples include changing batteries on power chair, controllers, joysticks, wheels & casters to name a few. These repairs are of immediate importance and often times this equipment is all the customer has for mobility. Candidate must show compassion and empathy for our clients and represent Medical Solutions in a professional and cost-effective manner.
Responsibilities
• Arrive at work on time daily, ready to start work immediately, complete the day in
an efficient prompt manner with clean jeans or rugged style khakis pants & work
casual shirt. No logo or graphic t's. No T-shirts
• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Follow routes and time schedules
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, schedule vehicle maintenance & operate our
delivery van safely.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment as clients call in service request
• Collect payments on occasion
• Review delivery paperwork with each client, obtain signatures & inform clients of
other products that may meet their needs
• Complete daily logs, checklist and or reports
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards, no texting allowed
• Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse
• Unload, unbox and stock incoming inventory
• Disinfect returned equipment
• Do not get wrapped up in office politics or fall into negative culture
Skills
• Consistently strive to provide quality service to our clients with the utmost highest
professional and ethical standards.
• Be able to bend, stoop, climb, reach, drag and lift 50+ lbs sometimes more with
assistance
• Proven working experience as a maintenance & delivery driver
• Valid driver’s license, must be able to pass a background check and drug
screening
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good driving record with no major traffic violations
• High school diploma or equivalent
