Cardiologist: “how did you get your cholesterol down before? Its up again”

Patient: “I was taking GLP1 compounded meds because my insurance wouldn’t pay for them. I felt great, lost weight, got off the meds”.

Cardiologist: “okay. Lets get you back on them” *cardiology does PA (including things tried and failed and medical letter of necessity*. Denied.

Patient: “I need back on the compounded meds for my overall health”.

Me: “okay. But we gonna have to jump through hoops to get it” *insert state board and federal laws here* 🥹

Insurance and Big Pharma expensive meds are pushing the system and patients to be unhealthy and you officially cannot tell me any different. I’m not giving up on my patients. Business as usual here. ❤️

Someone came by and dropped off this guy while I was with a patient this afternoon. Thank you! I absolutely LOVE it! 😍 How exciting that our first ornament on the tree is Jesus! 🤩

I have two MORE trees to put up in the clinic. Haha! 🤣 I have to buy the trees first but I wanted to do something to include my patients and community!! ONLY if you want. Please don’t feel obligated. I just thought it would be fun!

If you have a kid that loves making Christmas ornaments - can literally be anything (yes. Paper counts too 🤣) - and they would want to donate it this year, bring it to me. I’ll hang it on my clinic tree!

Will also accept funny, nice, and/or store bought ones also! Those ornaments you wanna toss out? I’ll take them! Please don’t spend a fortune on one ornament and ONLY if you’d like to be involved! No pressure at all. I’m putting the trees up regardless. 🤭🤣

Ornaments can be dropped off anytime the clinic is open beginning next week through to our Christmas Open House on December 12th!

I can also give my clinic address if you’d rather mail one. 🫶🏽

Wow! You guys showed UP tonight! We had an AMAZING turn out! I had so much fun getting to see all the kids in their costumes and meet everyone! These photos are the only ones I got but there were SOOOOO many more people.

Hey friends!

Just a reminder. I will be out of town next week November 3-7 for a conference so I can renew my certification I have to have for my license.

Hopefully this will be the last trip for a little bit. I’m so sorry for inconvenience it causes but this is a must do for legal reasons. I don’t need to lose my license/certification! The good news is, you will still be able to get in touch with me and I can help from afar if I need to. 😁 So I won’t be completely out of pocket. 🫶🏽
