D-Day was one of the most pivotal days in history — the day Allied troops landed on the beaches of Normandy, facing unthinkable odds in the name of freedom. ⚔️ Over 4,000 gave their lives that day. Thousands more were wounded. And yet, they pressed forward — for us.

We honor their courage and remember the cost of liberty. Let us never forget their sacrifice.

To our families and the community we serve:

As you may already know, the city of Jonesboro was impacted by a large and very powerful storm on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. Unfortunately, JMPC was not spared by the 60mph straight line winds this destructive storm brought with it.
We are aware of the many downed trees throughout the cemetery and are actively working to clean up the debris. We ask that you please be patient and kind to staff and ground crew during this time. We are sincerely doing our best. It is unfortunate that this has happened so close to Memorial Day, and because of that, we ask that you please take caution while visiting the cemetery as there is quite a lot of debris covering the gardens and roadways.

Please also be mindful of the unstable weather yet to come. More rain and storms are expected as we head into the weekend, which will leave the cemetery very wet and muddy.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call us at 870-932-6532 or stop by our office located in the cemetery. We are available Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM.
