Whether you need a primary care physician, dental work, or behavioral health services, you can count on Stone Mountain Health Services for the quality care you expect and deserve. We have 12 clinics located throughout Southwestern Virginia including Jonesville, Virginia, to provide primary medical care when you need it at an affordable cost. Since 1976, the primary focus of our nonprofit, private group health clinic has been on providing exemplary medical, dental, and behavioral health services. As a certified quality health center, we provide services by educated and experienced health care professionals to address your every need. What makes our practice special is that our practitioners live in the communities we serve. Our board is also comprised of individuals that reside and work within each community, and our fees are established using a sliding fee scale based on the income of our patients and their insurance. We work with your insurance whether it's private, Medicare, or Medicaid and can even offer you care if you are underinsured or uninsured.

I’m Emily Rose, a Family Nurse Practitioner proud to have recently joined Stone Mountain Health Services at the Thompson Family Health Center. As a Buchanan County native, I’m excited to provide care to the community I’ve always called home.

I’ve worked in nursing for 10 years in a variety of roles, and my experience as a Nurse Practitioner includes Family Medicine and Pulmonology. I provide family-centered care for patients ages 5 and up, and I’m passionate about supporting the long-term health and wellness of families in Southwest Virginia.

When I’m not in the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family and our dogs.
