Freeman Education Department Freeman Education Department offers a wide variety of continuing education programs for our staff, healthcare professionals and the community.

We have been an American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center since 2004. Many of our life support courses are available to the community, whether you are an experienced healthcare professional or a beginner to life-saving training. Training areas include basic life support skills such as CPR and first aid, as well as initial and renewal courses for advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) a

nd pediatric advanced life support (PALS). Our specialty courses designed for healthcare professionals range from basic certifications to advanced licenses in AWHONN, STABLE, NRP, ASLS and TNCC.

We're wrapping up our mahjong lessons tonight and most of us think we're finally getting the hang of it - maybe sorta kinda 😁
It's not an easy game, but we're excited to keep playing and learning.

Ozark Center will steal the show tomorrow at the April Third Thursday on Main Street in downtown Joplin! As the April event sponsor, we’ll host an “Ozark Center Zone” between 6th and 7th streets, where you’ll find six Ozark Center booths featuring activities, information, and some great giveaways.
