It was a rainy fall day in 2018, my sweet friend Marian was in and I shared a secret idea with her-“Marian, I just paid off my FJ, I think I want to start a vintage perfume oil business to match Rejuvenation.”
Her only response, “do it.”

❣️Short story-it’s passion fueled.
I will not stop until breath leaves my body.

This last year broke my heart. So much that I’m truly grateful I didn’t close the entire Alchemist Haven inspiration.
So much occurred, really it takes my breath away it hurt so much.
Love is so blind.

I was told by a person I very much fell in love with-“imagine what a chemical engineer could do with your business.”
First, “chemical” isn’t what I want for my aspirations.
The entire point of my entire endeavor is ‘free of,’ such things.
Second, people who love you don’t say things like this. This was simply an insult by a human who obviously never really understood or saw me or Alchemist Haven.
Newsflash-common sense weighs in loftier than most degrees.
(I’m not discrediting education, the context of the statement was cruel, and meant to take me down a notch.)
Subtle encouragements to sell the business were tossed out often, but I really didn’t want to acknowledge it: when someone loves you, do they ask you to trash your dream?

There hadn’t been a day go by that I don’t shed a tear or two. I miss the illusion of my nuclear family, but I truly have my Alchemist Haven family. People who really do stick together -thick and thin. Love is an action.

The days I couldn’t carry it, they stepped in, the endless hours of conversations from close friends, helping me wade through the heartache- I am so grateful.

Today is an anniversary of many things, but mainly I have to express my gratitude and thankfulness.

I am still sad.I still have moments, but I know the future is what we make it,and I choose for it to be amazing.

A new twist for pretty pouts and lippy treatments!!!💛🌼🌼🌼
