Counseling Associates of the Four States is excited to announce that Wendy Ovalle, LMSW will be joining our team starting December 22nd! Wendy will then transition full-time to our Carthage office, which is officially opening January 5th.

About Wendy:
Wendy is a bilingual (Spanish & English) Licensed Master Social Worker with a strong background in healthcare and behavioral health. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Pittsburg State University and her master’s degree in social work from the University of Oklahoma. Wendy has extensive experience supporting veterans, hospice patients, trauma survivors, individuals in crisis, and families navigating difficult life transitions. Her therapeutic approach includes strengths-based, solution-focused, and cognitive behavioral therapy, and she is passionate about serving individuals of all ages while honoring the importance of culture in the healing process.

Wendy is currently accepting new clients and accepts insurance.

We are thrilled to announce the addition of two outstanding providers to our team!

🌟 Misty Hayes, LPC — now accepting clients at our Neosho location. Misty also incorporates Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) into her sessions, offering an added layer of comfort and support for clients.

🌟 Aaron Neet, LPC — serving both our Joplin and Neosho offices. Aaron specializes in co-occurring disorders, providing expert care for clients managing multiple mental health and substance use challenges.

We’re excited to welcome them aboard and look forward to the expertise, care, and support they will bring to our communities.

Both providers will be accepting insurance — we are just awaiting finalization!
