New physician to the practice but not new doctor, has been practicing medicine for 20 years so if you see her , Dr Habib,

July 1 is coming! That means that if you require medical care in the coming month, you may have the privilege of being cared for by:
- A new physician who has dedicated their life to making others' lives/health better.
- A new physician who has already taken two sets of comprehensive national board examinations during medical school, in addition to the countless other assessments and exams they had to graduate from their medical school.
- A new physician who has spent the past 4 years of their life eating, breathing, and sleeping didactic and clinical education to earn the right to be called "Doctor".
- A new physician who is embarking on a sleepless, stressful journey of 3 to 5 years (or longer) of up to 12,480 - 20,800 hours of supervised residency training to become a master of their specialty.
- A new physician who will take one more national board examination, prior to taking their specialty (and subspecialty, should they continue onto fellowship training after residency) board examinations, to further prove they are competent physicians.
- Someone who was willing to go through all this, care for people on their worst days, and sacrifice their 20s to learn how to care for humanity. ....So yeah, if you meet one of these new physicians in the next few months, you're pretty lucky. Don't forget they might seem a little nervous, but that's because they know and care enough to be nervous.
