Calendar updates-

Sorry for the last minute notice-- today's annual chili cook off has been postponed to next Thursday!

Our Christmas Party is scheduled for Wednesday January 29 from 2-4.

We look foward to seeing everyone there!

We hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. With all the COVID behind us and the facility no longer in an outbreak, we are hopeful that we will be able to have our facility Christmas Party for our residents and families. We have rescheduled for January 29th from 2-4p.m. Watch here for any further updates. Bless you all and we hope to see you there.

Hello friends and family. Starting Monday we will have pumpkins for sale as a fundraiser for our residents fund account. Pumpkins are five dollars each and some are HUGE. If you would like to decorate the pumpkins, we will be doing penny wars, and you can bring them back after making them pretty and also partake in this second fundraiser. (Or you can keep them for your own personal use). If you want to enter your decorated pumpkin into penny wars, we ask that you please DO NOT CARVE the pumpkins as they will attract fruit flies and bugs. Painting or glueing is an option when decorating for penny wars. There will be a trophy involved for the one that raises the most money for Best Decorated pumpkin.

As always we are still accepting candy for the trunk or treat for our residents and families.

Hello Family and Friends, we will be having a trunk or treat for our residents and families,
on

October 31st 2:30 to 4:30 or until candy runs out.

We have a donation box for candies set up located inside the front door on a table. Donations are welcome and appreciated.

If you would like to do a trunk/ provide a game please see the Assistant Director of Nursing to sign up or for details. Please remember this is for our residents first, so we ask to keep it fun and friendly.

It's a honor to have Kenny as a resident of Joplin Gardens. He is nothing but smiles and has a long time passion for motorcycles and his truck. With help from family and friends he wanted to see his bike and truck one more time. Joplin gardens is proud and honored to be a part of Ken's final wishes.

Fourth of July is in full swing at Joplin Gardens! A special thanks to Dr. Cascone, Cramers Meat, J&H Cattle Meat Co, and staff for the brisket donations! Also thanks to Benjamin and Shane for tending to the meat!

Our residents will enjoy sliced brisket or a brisket sandwich with mustard potato salad, baked beans, and watermelon for dinner tonight!
