is assisting Abingdon Fire Company - MD at a house fire in the 200 block of Suitland Place, Abingdon.

515pm: Fire Under control, 2 firefighters evaluated by EMS on scene. 2 adults are displaced and being assisted by Harford County disaster assistance.
Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause.

As we proudly celebrate 75 years of service (1951–2026) to the Joppa, Edgewood communities, the members of the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company are honored to announce our 2026 Administrative and Fire Officers.

This milestone year is a testament to generations of dedication, sacrifice, and volunteer service. We are grateful for the members who have stepped up to lead us forward, as well as those continuing in their roles to provide stability and experience.

Due to reasonable time restraints Santa’s tour this evening will be pausing. Residents in the area of Riverside Elementary School can now expect Santa on 12/18 after he completes his short preplanned route that evening.
