January feels like a moment to look around and realize how much has been built, and how deeply I trust what’s unfolding next.

I’m genuinely grateful to be right here, right now. Rooted in the desert, supported by this community and creating work that feels meaningful, steady, and true.

This month for me is unfolding to be about clarity, nourishment, and choosing what actually supports the life and leadership we’re stepping into.

If I had to put it into words: January is the unfolding into the life we’ve craved for so long but we finally realize it’s all here.

January offerings are now open—intimate and intentional spaces to reset, reconnect, and begin the year grounded + resourced.

With so much gratitude,
Forest

When I peaked the last mountain range in my little Honda Civic, packed with everything I owned, a rush of tears clouded my eyes.

The new landscape filled with shrubs and small buildings painted bright pink in beautiful patterns and textures by local artists brought me to tears. I finally felt I was home.

This new place was only somewhere I had heard of from an album back when Apple Music downloaded a full U2 album on all our phones — Joshua Tree.

I had never been here, nor did I know anyone, but the synchronicities leading up to my arrival told me I was in the right place. It all started back in Northern California when my landlord at the time decided she wanted to move back into the place I was renting. It was a gorgeous place, with my own private deck that overlooked the garden + shaded by a fruitful cherry tree in summertime. So it made sense.

At the time, I thought I’d move to another place in the same small town I was living. It was a spiritual place, at every corner talks of UFO sightings + light beings. A place where I felt grounded and had led me to deeply explore my spiritual side. Mount Shasta was a town + beautiful mountain where I had called home for the summer of 2023.

But it was time to move on, to this new artist town where I had no clue how it would all unfold. Just trust in myself that it would all come together as it always did.

And that it did. (Read the full story on Substack)

Everyone says “speak your truth.” No one talks about what happens when you do and it doesn’t land the way you hoped.

There’s a moment that happens right after you speak your truth as a leader that’s not talked about a lot. The words leave your mouth, the air shifts + your heart feels like it’s beating larger than the conversation itself.

You think That’s it, I said what needed to be said. But then the silence arrives, the stillness of people processing, expectations shifting and you being able to feel it all.

It’s in that space I’ve often felt the opposite of clarity — the doubt, discomfort, and even regret. The thoughts that pop up when uncertainty arises, when you’re stepping into a new playing field that you’ve never been in before.

When you ride that uncertainty, trusting it with every fiber of your body, the discomfort transforms into the most incredible awe and wonder, but along the way it feels shaky, because you’re expanding.

I used to think clarity meant confidence — that if I was clear I’d always feel powerful when I spoke. But sometimes clarity feels messy, shaky, and most of all just pure human.

And your job is to stay connected — to your values, integrity, and your why.

That’s the kind of clarity I’m learning to trust now: the quiet clarity that exists after the words that rock the room on a whole new axis. The clarity of who I am after the room gets rustled. But it’s me choosing to tell myself you’re still safe, you’re right where you need to be.

A few reflections for other leaders in this space:
1. Truth rarely feels tidy
2. Clarity lives in the aftermath
3. Leadership is an energetic regulation

If you’re navigating that same space where your truth feels half-spoken or still finding form this is exactly the work I’ll be guiding inside Akashic Guidance this November.

It’s a training for leaders who want to interpret their own intelligence, make decisions from calm conviction, and communicate with precision instead of pressure.

Until then, begin with Power to Portal — my free clarity guide for the in-between. It’s the place where self-trust starts to sound like truth again.

How I Became a Sound Healer | Part III:

Fast forward to moving to Joshua Tree where I had every intention of continuing my Intuitive Readings and Retreats, but I could feel a nudge towards getting my own set of bowls. I put it off for months, ignoring the message and not really understanding why I would need my own bowls.

Finally, around Thanksgiving I pulled the trigger on a set of seven white crystal bowls that ended up sounding divine. I pulled them out and started playing immediately, under the Christmas tree set up in the living room. I asked everyone to gather round so I could practice and could feel myself drawn to the ease and flow of playing for extended periods of time.

I had recently joined the local yoga studio and asked one of the owners if she had any ideas where I could play the bowls for the community. She suggested I play them there, and the following week I did a trial to start to teach a class. Thus, Celestial Sound was born — a love of these beautiful bowls that came into my life at the perfect time and Oracle Readings to see what energy you leave with at the end of the class.

Almost two years later, the class still runs and we have a beautiful community that comes weekly — and calls it “Sound Church” because it’s every Sunday afternoon.

I like to say the bowls found me, at a time when I didn’t realize how I could use sound technology to ground and regulate people back to their clarity + alignment.

It’s been a blessing and a gift to offer sound, and now I offer Privates, 1:1’s and will soon be offering a Sound Healing Training for facilitators ready to open their own practice.

When I stopped trying to “make things happen,” everything started happening on its own. Here’s what that season taught me about alignment, creativity, and trusting momentum again.

There’s something powerful that happens when you stop trying to force what’s next.

When I finally gave myself permission to pause — not because I was burnt out, but because my energy wasn’t matching my effort — I found something surprising: space. And in that space, clarity.

Here are five things I learned when I stopped “working” in my business and started listening to it instead.

1. Stillness is not stagnation.
For a long time, I believed that slowing down would slow the results. That if I wasn’t posting, planning, or producing, everything would fall apart.

But stillness doesn’t mean nothing’s happening, it means something new is forming. When you pause the noise, you can finally hear what your next move actually sounds like.

2. Comparison is a distortion, not direction.
The more I compared, the more distorted my intuition became. Everyone else’s pace looked like proof that I was behind. But every business and every leader has their own rhythm. The sooner you honor yours, the faster things align.

3. You can’t force alignment, but you can create the conditions for it. When I stopped “working,” I started observing. I noticed what felt light and what felt heavy. What opened easily and what always felt like a push.

Alignment is found in awareness, and when you make space for things to land, the right ones do.

When I finally gave myself permission to stop “working,” I didn’t lose momentum, I found meaning.

TBH when you do less you’re not avoiding, you’re just re-aligning into clarity.

P.S. If you’re in that in-between space (the place where things are working but you’re ready for more expansion) start with Power to Portal. It’s my free guide to recalibrate your next move and hear yourself again.

P.P.S. This is exactly the work I’ll be guiding inside Akashic Guidance this November.

When you do what lights you up, you become the woman who changes the atmosphere just by entering the room.

The next evolution of you starts with clarity.

The kind that comes from listening to yourself again.
