Hi, I’m Heather, the owner of DFW Senior Care 💙
I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself and share a little about why I started this journey.
Back in 2007, I founded DFW Senior Care with one simple belief: every senior deserves the opportunity to age in place—safely, comfortably, and with dignity in their own home.
Over the years, that belief has never changed. In fact, it’s become the foundation of everything we do.
We are a non-medical home care agency, but what we truly provide goes beyond care—it’s peace of mind for families and independence for the people we serve.
Our philosophy is simple:

✔️ Keep them safe at home
✔️ Treat every client like family
✔️ Treat our caregivers like family, too
And one thing I’ve always been committed to is this—we only hire caregivers we would trust with our own loved ones.
A little fun (and very personal) fact—if you’ve ever seen our marketing materials, the young boy featured in them was actually my son when he was a baby, and now he’s in college and works for the agency. 💙
Nearly two decades later, I’m still just as passionate about this mission as I was on day one.

I am a compassionate caregiver with DFW Senior Care, dedicated to providing dependable, respectful, and heartfelt care to seniors and their families. Serving others is more than a job to me—it’s a calling rooted in patience, dignity, and genuine compassion.
At DFW Senior Care, we proudly serve VA clients, including spouses of Veterans, as well as families utilizing Long-Term Care Insurance and Private Pay services. Our goal is to help seniors maintain independence, comfort, and quality of life in the place they call home.
My caregiving services include transportation to doctor appointments, household chores, bathing and personal care, ambulation assistance, meal preparation, incontinent care, medication reminders, running errands, and more. DFW Senior Care Services is a locally owned and operated non-medical home care agency. We have been servicing the DFW Metroplex for over 12 years. Our management and caregivers offer years of experience caring for Seniors at home. Our #1 goal is to keep Seniors living independently and safe in the comfort of their home so they are able to age in place and enjoy life to its fullest.
Most of our caregivers have worked for us for years while the others have been referred by another caregiver, client’s family or another healthcare professional. Our caregivers are hired based on their compassion and skills, which helps me feel confident our clients are well cared for. Our goal is not only to provide non-medical assistance but also life enrichment for both our client and their loved ones.
How we do it:
Matching the right caregiver is the key to ensuring our clients are most satisfied with our company’s services. The way we do this is by providing a free in home consultation t0 meet with the client and family to determine the individual’s specialized care needs, personality, home environment, likes and dislikes. Everyone is different and we understand this and welcome it. This is why we develop a personalized care plan that outlines all of our clients and their loved one’s specific wants and needs to ensure the caregiver is the right fit and service is most beneficial. You are our boss, so if we don't assign the right caregiver the first time, all you have to do is call and our management team will take care of everything. We routinely make quality assurance calls and supervisory visits to ensure we are meeting and exceeding your expectations.
Our initial consultation is free and there’s no obligation for service. If we are unable to assist you, we will offer suggestions for other resources which may be more beneficial for your situation. We are flexible and understand your changing needs so if you need to cancel service at any time you may do so with no additional cost.
Our Hiring Requirements:
Minimum of one year experience working in the senior care field or comparable training
Professional appearance, kind and passionate about caring for Seniors.
Veterans and Surviving Spouse
We can assist in qualifying for the Veteran Aide and Attendance Pension. It is specifically designed for Veterans and their spouse to receive care. DFW Senior Care Services has assisted hundreds of Veterans and/or their spouse over the years and its is our honor to do so! The pension can provide 45-90 hours of care through our company per month which cost you nothing out of pocket and care is normally approved within 30-45 days. Once you are approved, it’s paid to you for the remainder of your life.

Veteran’s Aide and Attendant Pension
Hourly Rates:
1 hour visits $25.00 per hour
2 hour visit 23.50 per hour
3+ hour visit $19.50 per hour
Reduced Overnight Rate: $120 per night (10 p.m.- 6 a.m.)
Coverage Area:
Tarrant, Johnson, Dallas, Ellis, Hill, Hood and Parker Counties
