🌿 Wellness Wednesday: Mullein Leaf 🌿
Since we shared w/ you that we were dehydrating mullen leaf, we made that our star for Wellness Wednesday. It is such a great plant, most of us have it growing in the JK 7 Ridges area and don't even know it.
Mullein is a medicinal herb that has been used for centuries in throughout Europe, Asia, and North America.
Scientific Name: Verbascum thapsus
Common Names: Mullein, Common Mullein, Great Mullein, Velvet Plant, Cowboy Toilet Paper
Mullein often grows wild along roadsides, open fields, and disturbed soils.
Historically, ancient Greeks & Romans used mullein for respiratory complaints, wound care, & lamp for its tall flower stalks.
