I did something that I often preach to you all about but fail to make time for, myself.

I received my first facial from Skin Is In By Vanessa. I told her my goal was to understand my skin, because I have absolutely zero skincare. I don’t know anything about it and no one has told me what my specific skin needed.

I left feeling not only fantastic about my skin ( mirrors hate to see me coming!) and how it feels, but I left feeling so educated.

If you get the chance, you have to book with her. 10/10 can’t wait to be back.

It’s been brought to my attention that some unkind things have been said about me. While I don’t usually address these situations, I do want to clarify one thing and then move forward.

Recently, I had a client who did not complete payment for their session. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the matter, the invoice went unpaid and outside help was required. Unfortunately, this situation has led to negative comments being made about me and my business.

For those who know me, you know I care deeply about my clients and always strive to make things as smooth and comfortable as possible. To prevent situations like this in the future, I will now require payment at the time of service. If booking online, a card will be required to hold the appointment (it will not be charged unless used for payment).

Accepted payment options include cash, card, Venmo, and Zelle.

✨ Exciting Update ✨
The boutique side of The She Shed Massage Therapy & Boutique is going to be a work in progress as we get our footing. 💕 Right now, we’ll have shirts, tumblers, bags, and other fun finds!
For now, the boutique will mostly be open for private shopping after massage sessions (a little bonus self-care treat 😉). We’ll also have special times when the boutique will be open to the public — those hours will be posted in advance so you can stop by and browse. 🛍️
Our main focus will always be massage and self-care, but we’re so excited to slowly grow the boutique side in the near future. Think of it as just the beginning — and we can’t wait for you to see what’s coming next! 💖

I have to give two shoutouts today.

1. My husband. Things have been chaotic. Trying to work, do everything for my new location, get everything for my new location, things going wrong, ya girl is going THROUGH it. My husband stepped in and took SO much off my plate, including the big task of painting my entire office.

2. Bell & Bean for caffeinating him as he takes on these projects today!
