In addition to our post about moving our finals. If in three weeks this smoke is still this bad or worsens our only other option is to move 2020 Finals into the Spring. We just want everyone to know we are aware of everything going on, the healing, the fighting of fires, road closures, displacement etc....we will re look at this at that time, but for now we grabbed this date to at least try for everyone to have a finals before year's end, but please be aware that this could very easily change, we hope not, however this has been the most crazy year and we are trying like everyone else to make the right choices and will continue to do so. We will not be cashing any entry checks until we know for sure it is a go so also keep that in mind. Thank you all for understanding. New date to get entries and buy in apps in is October 16th.

BSCC Finals only 2 months away. We met with Prineville last week and everything is still on schedule, we will just have some rules we have to follow but nothing we all cannot handle. They are excited about us coming. With the COVID and lack of races due to cancellation there is a 'buy in" option if you cannot make the remaining races on our calendar, but do try to make the races and help our producers out during this time. This has been a tough year for all but looking forward to seeing everyone there. This group will make it fun as always. We are finalizing our flyer and entry form, should see it on the site this week. Reasonable entry fee's this year, penning & dry camping is allowed in the upper part of the fairgrounds if you prefer to pen vs. stalling, Thank you Crook County for allowing this. This will be a three run finals starting on Friday October 2nd at 3PM so make sure you are aware of the new schedule and can get there in time. We will work with you if you need to be later in the draw due to travel or work, just have to let us know ahead of time when pre entering. You can come as early as Thursday. We will have time only slots beginning that afternoon. There will be NO LATE ENTRIES this year. Keep watching for more info to come. Going to be fun!!! BSCC is now accepting Vendor Space at our 2020 BSCC Finals in Prineville October 2-4. If you would like to set up please email us at beaverstatecanchasers@gmail.com to receive a vendor contract. This contract must be back to us by September 1st with payment. We will not accept vendors after that date and cannot take payment at finals. Must be done ahead of time. Thank you!!

This weekend was definitely a challenge and a huge change for us all in putting on this race and the contestants for being diligent with what we asked them to do. Everyone was awesome in following the guidelines. Thank you for that!! We could not ask for better people to do this as Jim & Terri Leach, simply great friends and the best producers to team up with and run this kind of format. The crew we have in the south is always amazing...always on task. We never have to worry about anything, Mindy Roberson, Keisha Rondeau, Kassie Roberson, you three rock at the gate!!! Haley Cornilsen who is killing it in the office. Patsy Hayes for parking lot duty in the lovely rain. Bre Yates helping with check ins. Jaymie Leach, Colton Jacobson, Toby Jacobson, Carissa Bottensek, four people that mean the world to this association with their dedication and to the riders who always support us. Hopefully we are on track to barrel racing again!!!
