8️⃣ months of waiting.

My career was held in limbo due to forces outside of my control. Being without my job meant I was living without purpose. Don’t get me wrong, I’m proudly raising two amazing kids, but this - chiropractic - is all mine. I put in the blood, sweat, and tears to acquire this degree.. to get a job that took me across the country, brought me to my husband and our life as a military family. My kids would not be here without it.

But chiropractic is more than a job. It’s a calling. Like it or not, this is what I was always meant to do and what to be. A helper. A healer. A friend and confidante. Most importantly, a listener. If I could accomplish anything with patients, I would want them to know that I hear them.

Your issues are not imagined. You’re not alone. There is always something to be done. I’m here to tell you that pain is never normal. That your mental health affects your physical health more than you could ever imagine. That what you do today will drastically impact how you feel in the future. My purpose in life is nourishment. Whether it be my patients, my kids, or even my dog 🐶, I was put on this planet to love and to tend. To nurture.

For those that are new here, I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself.

My name is Dr. Megan 👐. I have been a chiropractor for almost 1️⃣2️⃣ years now (time flies!) and have practiced all over the US - Washington, New York, and now Kansas 🌻 My practice is geared towards women 👩 and children 🧒. My absolute favorite population to care for are my pregnant mommas🤰. I’m certified in the Webster technique (ask me about it!) and have brought relief to lots of moms during their pregnancies.

My family moved to Kansas🌻 last summer after living in New York for 4 years. Although my husband and our two kids loved the snow in NY, we’re looking forward to spring so can enjoy more of what this area has to offer. Jenny, the pup, loves all the wide open spaces so she can play lots of fetchies 🎾

My greatest priority as a provider is to make you feel heard. Every person is different and every body is different, however, all are welcome with me 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️. I can’t wait to get started!

To my dearest patients, neighbors, and friends -

We knew it was coming - the dreaded military move. It’s always this dark cloud looming over the horizon, seemingly so far off, but then it’s suddenly time to go. We were lucky to be awarded another year here back in 2024, and I’m so grateful I was given the chance to spend more time with you.

It’s been over 3 years since I began seeing patients here in New York. What I thought would be a bumpy ride ended up being so easy. And it was only easy because of you. I never had to worry about when I’d get another new patient because of how quickly word travels in the military community. Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Because of you, I was able to travel home to be with family when my dad passed and again when my brother-in-law passed. Because of you, I was able to buy my kids gifts for Christmases and birthdays. Because of you, I have gained invaluable experience with my craft. I have learned so much as a chiropractor and business owner, and it’s all because of your patience and unwavering support.

Thank you for changing my life - for giving me my purpose back, and for giving me a reason to get up every morning. Thank you for allowing me the honor of serving you and your families. It has been the pleasure of my life to meet you all and watch your babies grow. I could not have accomplished all that I have here without your help, and I will never be able to return all you’ve given me.

I know this life in the military is far from easy, but one good thing about it is that there’s always a chance we’ll meet again. So, I’ll see you then.
