Meet Jacob Karski, Physical Therapist at Juneau Bone & Joint.

Jake earned his B.S in Kinesiology from Michigan State University in 2018, followed by his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Wayne State University in 2022. After starting his career in Michigan, he hit the road and landed in Juneau, Alaska. Jake enjoys building relationships with his patients and making therapy an enjoyable and rewarding experience for all involved. Jake enjoys working with a wide array of orthopedic conditions and has experience working with individuals of all ages and activity levels.

When he is not at work, you have a high chance of running into him on one of Juneau’s many trails. Back home, he enjoyed waterfowl hunting and shooting in a competitive s***t league. When not outside, he enjoys watching new movies and spending time with his family.

We are thrilled to welcome Raz Sadeghi, PA-C, to Juneau Bone & Joint Center. Born and raised in Juneau, Raz is excited to return home to care for the community that shaped her. She earned her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies in Augusta, Georgia, and is certified to demonstrate evidence-based, up-to-date medical knowledge. Raz had the opportunity to complete part of her training in Juneau, and this was an experience that really rekindled her love for Southeast Alaska.

She has a deep passion for helping people and is grateful for the chance to support patients in returning to the activities they enjoy. Outside of work, she loves cooking and baking, and she spends her free time outdoors hiking, fishing, kayaking, and taking full advantage of everything Southeast Alaska has to offer. Did you know? Labor Day was first celebrated in 1894 to honor the contributions of American workers and the labor movement. It is amazing what our work has accomplished over the last 130 years. Today, it’s a reminder to rest, recharge, and spend time with family.

Our office will be closed on Monday, September 1st in observance of this great day.
