On August 21st, Aurora Integrated Oncology Foundation hosted the largest cancer screening event in Alaska’s history. Nearly 150 people were screened, 15 ColoGuard kits were distributed, and over 2,500 conversations about cancer prevention took place. Thank you to everyone who made this milestone possible - we’re proud to be part of the fight against cancer in Alaska.💙

💙We’re proud to share that 129 PSA blood tests for prostate cancer screening were administered during Cancer Screening Day at the Alaska State Fair. 👏Way to go guys!
🎗Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers among men, but the good news is that when it’s caught early, it’s highly treatable. Because this cancer often has no symptoms in its early stages, regular screenings are critical.
