Goood morning beautiful people of Juneau! I have a meeting with AEYC today to discuss possibly becoming licensed as an in-home daycare, but I have heard it can be quite cumbersome. I’m hopeful this will work out because I know there is a huge need for SAFE, affordable childcare here in Juneau. While I’m waiting to (hopefully) become licensed, I have decided I would like to open my home up full-time to 2-3 preschool age kids.

I have a website for my doula business you can check out my link in the bio. I will be updating this weekend to include childcare times, cost, and daily/weekly schedules. I will be offering preschool and potty training because I KNOW parents could use an extra hand there! We will practice mindfulness, yoga & meditation, healthy eating habits, and engage in lots of creative activities indoors and outdoors.

I am located in the valley off Riverside Drive near the condos. We are close to Melvin Park, which I plan on utilizing until I get some outdoor play equipment.

Today, the Juneau-Douglas Doulas had a long-overdue meetup to discuss the revival of the Juneau Birth Collective. It was inspiring to hear how everyone got started on their birth-work journey and where they envision themselves and our community. Together we are going to do some incredible things!✨
