I’m committed to supporting you through the challenges of PTSD, substance use, anxiety, depression, and other life hurdles. My name is Matthew Lamb, and I’m a therapist dedicated to creating a safe, compassionate space where meaningful healing can take place. My journey to becoming a therapist was shaped by years of travel across cultures and landscapes, each experience expanding my perspective and deepening my understanding of the human condition. Along the way, I also turned inward—working through my own struggles and healing. That combination of outer exploration and inner growth led me to this work. As a therapist, I offer a grounded, compassionate space where clients can explore their own stories, navigate challenges, and move toward greater clarity and connection. After earning a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from St. John Fisher College, I began my work in New York State supporting individuals struggling with substance use, anxiety, depression, PTSD and trauma related disorders. I later moved to Juneau after spending time in different parts of the state on wilderness excursions. Those experiences further grounded my belief in the healing potential of nature, presence, and slowing down.
