This restorative workshop, led by our own , bodyworker, healer, and artist, was inspired & created to foster full body relaxation, stress-relief & mental refreshment 🙏
Julie holds a receptive, conscious space, making this practice accessible to all levels, offering a deep sense of connection, relaxation & clarity 🤍
Yoga Nidra, commonly known as the yoga of sleep, is a guided meditation into extended, resting consciousness ✨
You will begin seated with a discussion on what to expect, terminology used, and an opportunity to ask questions before the Yoga Nidra practice begins.
You will then move into a supine/savasana posture and be in stillness for 40-50 minutes, while Julie guides you through a flowing series of meditation-like practices aimed at relaxing the mind 😌
At the conclusion of the Yoga Nidra practice, there will be a short break, then we meet back on our mat in a seated position for writing and reflecting with journalling prompts ✍️
While the studio has common props available to borrow, please bring a pillow, your favorite blanket and anything you else you may need to be truly, deeply comfortable.
Clipboard, pencil and paper will be provided for integration/closing; you may also bring a journal 📓
