We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you – the introduction of a new and innovative service at our Wellness First Plus Center: IV Methylene Blue .

What is Methylene Blue?

Methylene Blue has been used for decades in various medical applications. It has gained rapid attention for its therapeutic effects when administered intravenously. Methylene Blue has been shown to improve mitochondrial function, increase energy production, reduce systemic inflammation, and stimulate autophagy. Please join us in extending a warm welcome to George Christakis, DO, to the Wellness First family!

Dr. Christakis earned his medical degree at Edward via College of Osteopathic Medicine at Auburn University and completed his family medicine residency at St. Lucie Medical Center. Dr. Christakis focuses on the entire individual, addressing root cause and promoting health and longevity. To this end, he is obtaining additional training through the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM) and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M). He also uses osteopathic manipulative therapies (OMT) to restore structural balance in the body, which relieves common complaints, such as headaches, joint pain, and other musculoskeletal issues.

When Dr. Christakis is not practicing medicine, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, cooking, exercising, and all things outdoors! We are thrilled to have him and hope you’ll call to schedule your next appointment with him. He is actively accepting new patients - tell your friends! 😊

Wellness First of Juno Beach is a concierge, primary care practice, with an emphasis on functional medicine principles. The physicians of Wellness First, Holly Hadley, MD and Danielle DiPiero, DO, believe that our current model of healthcare: “treat this illness with this drug” fails to address the root cause of the issue, and is why many patients never get better. They also appreciate that no two individuals are exactly alike, and therefore, cannot be treated with a “one-size-fits-all approach.” They work closely with each patient to develop a health plan that is individualized, purposeful and effective.
