Beach House Center for Recovery is a nationally recognized, Florida-based rehab facility treating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders, and a leader in Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and other evidence-based interventions for alcohol and other addictions.
Our programs serve anyone over the age of 18 needing detox and treatment for alcohol or any other drug of abuse, be it an op**te, stimulant, benzodiazepine, or ma*****na (among other substances). Our clients are men and women (18+ years), who together represent a wide range of demographics, from young adults and seniors to clients with a variety of dual diagnoses.
From our headquarters in scenic Juno Beach, Florida, only a short walk from the ocean and conveniently accessible to all major airports and area hospitals, Beach House Center for Recovery provides a full spectrum of substance abuse care, including the following drug and alcohol treatment services.
Detox is the medically managed process of withdrawal from one or more substances, whereby our caring and experienced team of medical professionals provides 24/7 monitoring of clients’ vital signs while administering MATs and other medications to ease the pain and discomfort of cravings and other symptoms and ensure a complete detox. The goal is to help our clients fully cleanse their system of one or more addictive substances as safely, smoothly and comfortably as possible, so that they can then seamlessly transition into inpatient treatment as active participants in the various group and individual therapies that we offer.
Detox programs at Beach House Center for Recovery include:
Alcohol Detox
Alcohol Detox, which involves the close, 24/7 medical supervision of potential complications (such as seizures and delirium tremens) and, where needed, the short-term administration of MATs like naltrexone for alcohol cravings.
Drug Detox
Drug Detox, which is tailored to meet clients’ individual medical needs, entails the same high level of intensive, inpatient monitoring (of all symptoms and potential complications), and may also employ short-term MATs like Suboxone to relieve cravings.
Residential Treatment, for a minimum of 35 days immediately following (and in some cases concurrent with) detox, is our most intensive level of care for anyone with a drug or alcohol problem, consisting of a highly structured, daily routine of group and individual therapies for addiction. These include: cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT); “therapeutic alliance” (an emphasis on the quality of client-clinician rapport that we continually evaluate and seek to improve); trauma-informed therapy, including dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), which helps clients process and heal from the unresolved traumatic experiences that are often at the root of their drug-seeking behaviors; motivational interviewing (MI) that seeks to generate positive life change via client-directed self-reflection; and 12-step therapy, a proven program of abstinence-based peer support and spiritual transformation.
Outpatient Treatment
Outpatient Treatment is a less intensive level of care following detox that provides these same evidence-based therapies for addiction within a sober living environment— but in conjunction with more free time daily to plan for life after rehab, including job and education opportunities.
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is the short-term administration of FDA-approved medications for alcohol and op**te cravings as part of a comprehensive approach to treating addiction that also involves behavioral therapies. Beach House Center for Recovery is “OTP-certified,” meaning that our on-site pharmacy can dispense even highly regulated MATs quickly and conveniently right on site at our facility.
Aftercare Services
Aftercare Services at Beach House Center for Recovery consist of continuing care options like maintenance therapy, medication management, active alumni services, life and wellness coaching, access to a network of recovery groups, and random drug testing.
