Radiant Kid Spotlight: Amani

This week we are celebrating sweet Amani and the incredible growth she has made since beginning her care with us.

When Amani first came to Radiant Waves, her family was navigating some tough nights and emotional ups and downs. Night terrors were happening often and emotional regulation felt overwhelming for her little body. Bedtime was unpredictable and her days were filled with big feelings that were hard for her to work through.

Once we took a deeper look at her nervous system, everything started to make sense. Her scans showed that her body had been working in stress mode for a long time which made it harder for her to settle, process emotions, and feel safe enough for restful sleep.

With gentle, consistent adjustments, her nervous system began to unwind. Her parents started noticing changes little by little. Nights became calmer. The night terrors faded. Transitions throughout the day felt smoother. Her emotional world began to feel more steady and she grew more confident in her ability to regulate and settle.

Today, Amani is thriving. Her sleep is peaceful. Her days are filled with ease. And her family gets to see more of her bright, joyful personality shining through.
We are so proud of her and so thankful to walk alongside her family on this journey of healing and growth.

Way to go, Amani. You are amazing.

Reminder this Thanksgiving week: even your nervous system deserves a little rest and digest. 😌🧠

Your child’s nervous system, and yours, thrive on calm, safety, and love. Co-regulation doesn’t come from doing more… it comes from being present. That’s what true regulation looks like. 💛When your nervous system is calm, your child’s nervous system learns what calm feels like, too. Their brain literally syncs with yours, through your breathing, your tone, your energy.

So as the holiday rush begins, remember:
😌 Slow down.
🧠 Breathe deep.
🥧 Enjoy the connection around the table (and that second slice of pie).

And moms and dads...Your nervous system deserves a little rest and digest, too. 💛 Avoid talking about politics at the Thanksgiving table this year and instead pull up a Radiant Waves article to read after that 2nd slice of pie. 😜

✨Help us welcome Josey to the Radiant Waves family✨

We are so excited to introduce the newest member of our team, Josey. Born in the U.S. and raised in West Africa, her story is one filled with curiosity, compassion, and a deep desire to understand how the body truly heals.

Her passion for nervous system focused care began when her husband experienced a major shift in his lifelong allergies. Instead of just treating symptoms, they looked for the root cause. Watching his health transform opened her eyes to what is possible when we support the body the way it is designed to be supported.

With more than 10 years of experience working with children as a teacher, coach, and support for kids with special needs, Josey brings a gentle and grounded presence to our community. She has a natural gift for helping little ones, new mothers, and families feel safe, heard, and cared for.

Josey is bilingual in English and Spanish and loves connecting with families in the language they feel most at home with. Outside the office, you can find her at the beach, lifting, playing sports, or enjoying quiet time barefoot in nature.

We are so grateful to have her heart, her warmth, and her passion for children on our team. Be sure to say hello next time you’re in the office.

Today we are celebrating a very special duo , sweet baby Rowyn and her amazing mama.

Rowyn had a tough start. She was born with her head stuck to one side, which left her tight, uncomfortable, and unable to root or latch well on one breast. At the same time, Mom was dealing with her own challenge. The pressure from labor left one leg numb and tingly for more than a month.

Everything shifted once they began care.

Rowyn was adjusted just hours after birth, and immediately rooted to the side she had been avoiding. With weekly adjustments, she began feeding better, sleeping more comfortably, and hitting every milestone with confidence.

Mom received consistent care, too. Over time, the numbness and tingling faded and her body finally felt supported again.

We have the best little artists around here 🧑‍🎨 👩‍🎨

One of our favorite things is finding the sweet drawings your kiddos leave behind on the sketch pad in our kids area. From smiley faces to wild creatures to tiny love notes, each one brings so much joy to our day💙

These small moments remind us that Radiant Waves is more than a place for care. It is a place where kids feel safe, comfortable, and free to be themselves.
