Placenta Art involves carefully placing a placenta on a clean, flat surface and pressing a piece of high grade, low acid watercolor paper on top. One year ago, I became a Certified Profession Labor Doula. After experiencing my own birth traumas, my goal was to ensure that each client I served felt safe, valid, and comfortable with their care team. I started by supporting a mother who gave birth at home to a little boy. During my first year, I have supported 54 mothers! 🤩🙌 It has not came easy, without challenges, or obstacles. I continue to grow and learn at every single birth I attend and I’m thankful for those who mentor me, guide me, show patience, and offer constructive criticism. Shout out to of for allowing me this opportunity and mentorship. Thanks, everyone!! And I look forward to another year in the birth world!
