This week marks a big step in Gypsy’s healing journey—she received her first heartworm treatment injection. While she’s not feeling her best right now, this milestone brings her one step closer to a healthy, happy life.

Gypsy still has two more treatments to go next month, but through it all, her gentle spirit shines. She’s a sweet, silly, easygoing girl with so much love to give—and she’s still searching for her forever family.

At Sunshine Veterinary Hospital, we provide high-quality care for pets with services including wellness care, routine surgeries, anesthetic dental procedures, medical workups, and more. Our clinic is equipped with the latest technology, including in-house bloodwork machines, digital x-rays, ultrasound and a fully stocked pharmacy, allowing us to offer top-tier care for every pet that walks through our doors.

As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our valued clients, and we are looking for someone with a positive, team player attitude and a passion for animals. Your responsibilities will include answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking clients in and out, and assisting with light cleaning duties. Veterinary experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual!

We are a small practice that prides itself on building meaningful relationships with our clients and their pets. We also have several rescue partners that we support via mentorship and medical care

As many of you already know, we have a new addition to the office! This little bundle of joy was found as a stray, and when no owner came forward, fate stepped in. The moment she walked in, it was love at first sight for Dr. Liberman (and vice versa). Please join us in welcoming Beetle to her forever home! Jade is a mastiff mix with that will be available for adoption after her spay next week!

Jade is 95 lbs of sweet sweet mush. She is a true gentle giant. She wants nothing more than to shove her head in your lap and get pet. We don’t know her story as was recently found as a stray in Miami. Her lower eyelids roll in which causes discomfort and we will fix that at the time of her spay so she can see without pain. She will make one heck of a couch potato and is looking for a steady loving home where she can share all the affection she has to give.

We have another foster request for the community!

This hunk is Coco but we affectionately named him Burger. He is 70 lbs of LOVE! He is a bully breed mix - along the lines of the exotic low riders. He was an absolute gentleman for us when he came for his neuter. He also had a nose job (and throat) so that he can breathe better and be more heat tolerant. He is ready for adoption but could also use a foster home in the mean time. He may not be small dog/cat safe but we haven’t tested him really. All supplies for fostering provided by the rescue. Now in a foster home! Thank you

This senior boy of 15 is at ACC and needs a soft place to crash. With the help of , we would love to get him into a foster home and provide him with the best medical care and comfort for the time he has left. His notes say that he is a sweetheart and very gentle. He is likely a boxer or mix and 30 lbs. Please share so we can help Tiger 💙🐾
