The National Association for the Dually Diagnosed (NADD) has partnered with the Florida Developmental Disabilities Council, Inc. (FDDC) to continue their multi-year research project aimed at learning about the lived experiences of family members of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities living in Florida.
Building upon the success and information we collected during Years 1 & 2 (2022-2024), the NADD Research Team wants to speak with additional persons residing within the various populations in Florida, including Black, Hispanic, Haitian, and rural communities, to learn more about what resources they use, how they find them, what works and doesn’t work, and how they overcame barriers they experienced in looking for support within the intellectual and developmental disability resource community.
