In her own words…
I started my yoga journey in 2014 when I had an injury to my intercostal muscles. Previously I had much resistance to yoga and judgement as well. I did not truly understand what yoga was. Through the grace of my injury, I was open and I wanted to practice more as I not only found relief from my physical pain but a sense of peace, love, and stillness.
Through my practice I was drawn more to the classes that were more about svadhyaya (self-study, contemplation), connecting to inner stillness, and mediation. Along my journey I had a deepening desire to know more about what yoga truly was. In 2020 I attended Kula Yoga Shala’s 200-hour yoga teacher training course. Through my understanding of yoga not only being limited to asanas or my mat, I do my best to bring yoga into all aspects of my life.
My intention with sharing yoga is to create an environment for you to feel safe to show up exactly as you are in each moment. Each individual’s own intentions and awareness will be curating a complete expression of yoga, that we collectively collaborate together as a whole. During our classes together there will be time and space for meditation, contemplation, and plenty of space to explore what arises from within us organically.
