September is Pain Awareness Month—so let’s talk about how pain and the brain are connected.
Pain isn’t always just about injury. Sometimes, the pain sticks around long after the tissues have healed. That’s because the brain and nervous system can get “stuck” in pain loops, continuing to send pain signals even when there’s no clear reason.
At Center for Brain, we work with these chronic pain patterns using tools that support nervous system regulation:
🔵Neurofeedback helps the brain find a more balanced, flexible rhythm—sometimes easing tension and pain responses
🟢Body bioregulation devices gently stimulate systems that support healing and inflammation reduction
🟠Firefly light therapy (photobiomodulation) promotes cellular recovery and circulation, and we’re seeing exciting early results
🟡For some clients, nutritional support like SPM Active and Curamin complements the process
Even though pain isn’t always the main reason people come to us, many report improvement—especially with headaches, back pain, and strange nerve-like referral pain.
There’s no one-size-fits-all solution, but when we support the body and the brain, things can start to shift.
