A procedure happening in one room, shared with physicians across the country in real time.

Cardiac electrophysiologist Dr. David Weisman was invited to perform a live case at the Heart Rhythm Society’s annual meeting, one of the leading gatherings in heart rhythm care.

During the case, he demonstrated pulsed field ablation, an advanced technique used to treat irregular heart rhythms like atrial fibrillation. This newer approach is designed to improve precision while reducing risk for patients.

Live case transmissions allow specialists around the world to observe procedures as they happen, creating space to learn, ask questions, and advance care together.

As one of the first in Florida to perform this technique, Dr. Weisman continues to help move the field forward.

A look behind the scenes of a moment that extends far beyond one operating room.

Behind every great patient experience is a team making it happen.

This week, we’re recognizing our Patient Experience team for the work they do every day to ensure every interaction feels thoughtful, respectful, and truly centered on the people we serve. From listening to feedback to finding ways to improve each moment of care, their impact is felt across the entire organization.

As we celebrate Patient Experience Week and Pastoral Care Week, we’re grateful for the people who make connection, compassion, and understanding a priority.

Some of the most meaningful moments in a hospital don’t come from clinical care, they come from connection.

At Jupiter Medical Center, our volunteers support patients, families, and team members. Whether it is helping someone find their way, sitting with a patient who needs company, or bringing a sense of ease into an unfamiliar place, they are here for you.

Our volunteers play a powerful role in how people feel when they walk through our doors.
During National Volunteer Week, we’re proudly recognizing the people who make that difference every single day.

Our team members attended the Go Red Women’s Luncheon, bringing together voices across the community to shine a light on women’s heart health.

It was a powerful reminder that awareness isn’t just a moment, it’s ongoing. The conversations, the stories, and the shared purpose all pointed to one thing: continuing to push forward when it comes to prevention, education, and care.

At Jupiter Medical Center, it’s part of what our team works for every day, and we are grateful to be part of it.

Every baby deserves the strongest possible start.

This past weekend, our team laced up and joined the March of Dimes walk, standing alongside our community in support of healthier moms and stronger babies. Together, Jupiter Medical Center was proud to be the top fundraising team, a reflection of how deeply this mission resonates with our team members.

It’s a mission we’re connected to every day, which made it even more meaningful to be part of something bigger outside our walls.

Thank you to everyone who walked with purpose.

He’s been on the other side of a diagnosis. Now he shows up for others.

In honor of National Volunteer Week, we’re highlighting Ron, one of our dedicated volunteers who chose to give back after his own experience with cancer.

His perspective brings something unique, a deeper understanding, a sense of connection, and a genuine desire to be there for patients and families in meaningful ways.

At Jupiter Medical Center, our volunteers play an important role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment. It’s the moments they share, the time they give, and the care they show that make a lasting impact.

Thank you, Ron, and to all of our volunteers who give so much of themselves every day.

Some moments in healthcare stay with patients forever, and the people behind them matter most.

Congratulations to Kepler Murat, RN, on receiving the DAISY Foundation Award, a national recognition honoring nurses who make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families through clinical skill and compassion.

In his nomination, Kepler was recognized for the way he anticipates patient needs, takes the time to answer every question, and creates an environment where patients feel truly seen and supported without ever having to ask twice.

It’s the kind of impact that goes far beyond a single shift.

Congratulations, Kepler, and thank you for the difference you make for your patients every day.

Growth doesn’t stop when the shift ends.

At Jupiter Medical Center, continued education is part of how our team members grow in their roles and expand what they can bring to patient care. Through our donor-supported scholarship program, team members are able to pursue advanced training, certifications, and new areas of expertise.

Congratulations to Cody Taylor, BSN, RN, Assistant Clinical Manager in the Cath Lab, and Sonja Kerr, AHS, NCPT, NCIVT, CNA, Phlebotomy Educator, on being selected as scholarship recipients. Their commitment to learning and growth reflects the kind of investment that strengthens not only their careers, but the care we provide every day.

This program supports both clinical and non-clinical team members, creating opportunities across the organization for continued development and advancement.

Thank you to the generous donors who make this possible and continue to invest in the future of our team.

The first year of nursing shapes everything that follows.

At Jupiter Medical Center, our Novice Nurse Program is built to support that transition in a meaningful, hands-on way.

This year-long, paid residency combines classroom learning with real clinical experience, pairing newly licensed nurses with experienced preceptors for guided training. From day one, the focus is on building confidence, strengthening clinical judgment, and preparing nurses for independent practice.

Through the program, participants gain experience across a wide range of skills, from IV insertion and patient assessments to EKG interpretation, emergency response, and interdisciplinary communication. Just as important, the curriculum also focuses on professional development, ethical decision-making, and the human side of care, including patient communication, end-of-life care, and self-care strategies.

At the end of the program, each nurse presents an evidence-based project to nursing leadership, demonstrating their growth and readiness to step fully into their role.

Congratulations to our newest cohort of novice nurses! We’re glad you’re here and excited to be part of where your careers begin.

Please join us in congratulating Angie Petrov, Certified Nursing Assistant, as the recipient of this month's Sunshine Award.

The Sunshine Award recognizes extraordinary, allied health team members who bring compassion, professionalism, and kindness to every patient interaction. These individuals’ impact is deeply felt by patients and families.

Angie was nominated by the family member of a patient whom she cared for over several nights in the ICU. The nomination shared how Angie consistently showed patience, kindness, and respect. What stood out just as much was the way Angie cared for the family. She greeted them warmly, checked in to see if they needed anything, and made sure they felt supported while their loved one was in the hospital.
