Plot twist: she had her own name the whole time. ✨

This was Dr. Joelle Elyse Karch on medical school graduation day — standing between the two people who gave me my very first name.

Life added chapters.
Marriage added a different last name.
Motherhood deepened me.
Love stretched me.
Growth reshaped me.

But the woman who earned this degree?
She’s still here.

Reclaiming my original name.

In this dream, I was an artist—finally recognized, finally remembered. I didn’t even realize someone had been looking for exactly what I’d created. And when it clicked into place, it felt like love, alignment, and purpose all meeting at once.
