Top 3 signs you need more moisture & how to fix it ↓
1. Your Ends Look Dry & Split
The Problem: Dryness shows up first at your ends, making them look frayed and weak.
The Fix: Get regular trims and apply a lightweight oil to seal in moisture and prevent breakage.
2. Your Hair Tangles Easily
The Problem: The cuticle of your hair is lifted due to lack of moisture, hair strands are rough and rub against each other, creating more knots and breakage.
The Fix: Use a hydrating detangler before brushing, use a moisturizing deep conditioner once a week, and switch to a silk pillowcase to reduce friction while you sleep.
3. Your Hair Lacks Shine & Looks Dull
The Problem: When hair is dehydrated, the cuticle doesn’t lay flat, making it appear dull.
The Fix: Try using sulfate-free, moisturizing shampoos + conditioners and rinsing with cool water to lock in shine.

Your hair shouldn’t have to choose between looking styled and staying healthy.

But here’s the truth: skipping heat protectant is one of the fastest ways to damage your hair. E specially if you’re blonde, wear extensions, or are already on a hair repair journey.

Let’s break it down:
Most hot tools reach over 400°F. That’s hotter than what your hair can safely handle without damage. A good heat protectant forms a barrier between your strands and the heat, reducing breakage, dryness, and split ends.

Bonus? It also helps your blowout or curl last longer, keeps frizz at bay, and seals in shine.

My tip: Apply to damp hair before blow-drying and again before using hot tools like curling irons or straighteners. You should be applying heat protectant every time you heat style!

I am a creative hairstylist that is eager to make your hair dreams a reality. I am a passionate colorist that specializes in balayage, whether that be a natural balayage or a daring vivid over top - Hellllllo mermaids & unicorns. I believe there is a blonde or vivid color for every skin tone so anyone can have the hair of their dreams.
