Late fall is the one time you will see my yard look upkept.
And it's for a good reason!!
Just a tip to remember next year or if the wintery snow bear you to it...it's https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1AANdhex1Q/
A tidy yard is often a deadly one.
Winter pushes small creatures to the edge of survival, and leaf litter becomes the only insulation they have left.
• Fireflies begin life in the soil and leaf layers — removing them erases next summer’s glow.
• Moths, butterflies, and beneficial beetles overwinter in folded leaves.
• Birds rely on these insects for scarce winter protein.
Leaf litter isn’t clutter.
It’s habitat.
It’s shelter.
It’s life.
If you want a thriving spring, protect the hidden world beneath your feet this winter.
A small act of patience creates an entire generation of wildlife.
